Hello! I'm Jason aka Bitterseatrader on trademe, instagram, and youtube. I also started and run the largest facebook group dedicated to Score Dragon Ball Z in New Zealand.
Score DBZ is my first passion, but like most of us, I grew up with Pokemon as well, collecting the cards and pouring hours of my life into the Gameboy games. Once at University, I picked up MTG and played that casually until kids and general adult life took over my free time.
In 2016, I discovered the Panini revival of the Score card game and got interested after not looking at a DBZ card for the previous 10 years. I purchased a few boosters but before I could get carried away, my (now) wife and I moved to the UK for a couple of years.
Once I returned to NZ in 2018 it was all on. I was in that sweet spot of having a good job and no kids/responsibilities. I went hard. I collected most of the Panini cards across the 7 sets they released before it got shut down for Super. I wasn't into the modern looking cards and missed the nostalgia of DBZ so one fateful day I purchased a few Saiyan Saga commons off trademe and the horse was well and truly out the gate. What happened next was a 6 year journey to collect every DBZ card (bar the 3 'impossible' cards - SZ9, F5 and F6) - something my 10-year old self could never have dreamed of!

Having completed my singles collection, I needed to find another way to continue involvement in my favourite hobby so I started buying booster boxes and running box breaks, online and in person. I even attended the Auckland Card Shows in 2024 and 2025 and ripped a Cell Saga booster box live on stage! I've met a lot of the community in the last 2 years and its honestly a joy trying to bring some life back into this CCG we all love.
My goals keep evolving. After the single collection, it was open some booster boxes, then pull an ultra myself, then open a box of every set.
I've realised that I enjoy making this content and engaging with fellow collectors, so I have started this website to enable me to continue growing and playing with cards.
Moving forwards, I plan to run more live streams with box break games - always with Score DBZ but probably branching into some other franchises like Pokemon as well. I plan to have sealed and single items for sale directly from the website, and Ill keep working on new and exciting ideas to keep it fun so we can all enjoy a Good Game!
